Awo Electoral Committee Announces Bye-election

The Electoral Committee of Obafemi Awolowo Hall, University of Ibadan, has announced a bye-election to fill vacant leadership positions. This follows the removal of the previous president and the appointment of a new President, which sparked debates about democratic principles.

The bye-election aims to fill the following positions:

– President (exclusive to postgraduate students)
– Secretary of State (exclusive to postgraduate students)
– Financial Secretary (exclusive to postgraduate students)
– Assistant Financial Secretary (exclusive to undergraduate students)
– Bar and Buttery Minister (exclusive to undergraduate students)
– Minister of Socials and Welfare (exclusive to undergraduate students)
– Minister of Information and Publicity (exclusive to undergraduate students)

Interested candidates are to fill a google application form attached to the broadcast message latest by 12pm on Monday, 9th September, 2024 in which the application form will be closed.
