Awo Election: OAHIEC Releases Bye-Election Screening Results

Obafemi Awolowo Hall Independent Electoral Committee(OAHIEC) has released the bye-election screening result which was conducted online on September 14, 2024.

According to the result, out of the ten candidates who participated in the screening exercise, two of them, one of the bar and buttery aspirants and one of the assistant financial secretary aspirants were disqualified. The remaining eight candidates have been cleared to proceed to the next stage of the electoral process.

At the time of this report, the reason for the disqualification of these candidates is not yet known.
