Awo Hall Elects New Executives

The Obafemi Awolowo Hall conducted a virtual bye-election on September 18, 2024, which sees new executives take the mantle of leadership in the hall.

The bye-election declared Adelere Oluwaseyi Rachael who ran unopposed as the new president of the hall, emerging with a total of 117 votes, 21 undecided.

Other newly-elected executives who filled the vacant posts are:
– Secretary of State: Ajayi Mojisolwa Anuoluwa (185 votes, 17 undecided)
– Financial Secretary: Ogunlowo Mercy Temitope (190 votes, 12 undecided)
– Minister for Information and Publicity: Akinlawon Goodluck (190 votes, 12 undecided)
– Minister of Social and Welfare: Okhuelegbe Blessing Amanda won with (101 votes, 12 undecided) against her opponent, Bamiduro Praise Oreoluwa, who had 89 votes
– Minister of Bar and Buttery: Aladesulu Doyinsola (183 votes, 19 undecided)
– Assistant Financial Secretary: Owolomba Enifome Ari (184 votes, 18 undecided).
