The Executive Council of the University of Ibadan Students’ Union has announced a crucial Town Hall Meeting scheduled to hold on Thursday, May 1st, 2025. The meeting is set to take place at 2 PM in the SRC Chamber.
In a notice signed by the Union’s President, Covenant Odedele, and General Secretary, Segun V. Olowu, the Union emphasised the urgency and importance of the gathering. According to the statement, the meeting aims to foster direct engagement between student leadership and the Union, allowing for discussions on pressing issues affecting the student body.
The meeting calls for the attendance of stakeholders, which includes Faculty Presidents, Hall Chairpersons, and Departmental Presidents. “Each leader is expected to attend with two additional members of their executive councils to ensure a broad and inclusive dialogue,” the memo reads.
