Boluwaji Adegboye has been appointed as the Chief Judge of the Obafemi Awolowo Hall Judiciary Council. Her appointment, along with other members of the judicial arm, was officially ratified during the first sitting of the Hall Representative Council (HRC) for the 2024/2025 legislative session.
The sitting which was held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Senior Common Room (SCR) started with an opening prayers by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Atiloluwa Akinbote. This was followed by the reading minute of the last sitting by Clerk, Suliat Orekoya.
The sitting processed with screening and ratification of nominees for the Awo Hall Judicial Council. Members of the House questioned each nominee before proceeding to vote through a secret ballot system.
Boluwaji Adegboye emerged as Chief Judge with five votes, 2 voids.

Judge Favour Okikioluwa Samson – 6 votes
Judge Olawoyin Temitope – 7 votes
Registrar Junaid Olapeju– 6 votes (1 void)
Bailiff Olayiwola Bright – 7 votes Clerk Afesojaye Ruth Ayomide-7 votes
Also, the Attorney General, Attorney Ojo Victoria, of the executive council was appointed with 6votes and 1 void.
