Awo Hall HRC Approves Freshers’ Day Budget

Note: In our previous article about the approved budget, we incorrectly stated that it was ‘Freshers’ Week.’ The budget approved is actually for the ‘Freshers Day.’ We apologise for the mistake and any confusion it may have caused.

The Obafemi Awolowo Hall Representative Council, OAH HRC has approved the budget for the upcoming Freshers’ Day during the first sitting held on May 3, 2025, at the Senior Common Room (SCR).

The budget, presented by the Minister for Social and Welfare, Oyebade Deborah, was subjected to deliberations by members of the house. While a total of ₦325,605 was initially proposed, the council approved a final amount of ₦319,252.50 for the budget.

The motion for the budget approval was moved by Hon. Precious from Block H constituency.

The sitting was adjourned by Hon. Gift from the Block C constituency.
