Low Turnout: UI Student Leaders Mobilise Students for Congress

In response to low attendance at the University of Ibadan’s student congress, student leaders have begun moving through various halls of residence to mobilise students.

In his address, the Student Union President, Covenant Odedele, encouraged the students to be patient as they mobilise students.

As of 12:00 p.m., only a few students had gathered at the SUB Foyer, the venue for the congress. Consequently, the Congress is yet to start, as the required quorum for attendance has not been met.
