UI’SU to Hold Town Hall Meeting for Student Leaders

The University of Ibadan Students’ Union (UI’SU) Executive Council has scheduled a town hall meeting for student leaders to hold on Friday, September 5, 2025. The meeting, which is expected to take place at the SRC Chamber, is scheduled to begin at 3 PM.

According to the memo, faculty presidents, hall chairpersons, departmental presidents, student organization leaders, and majority leaders are expected to attend. In addition, hall chairpersons are to attend with two members of their executive councils to ensure wider representation.

Furthermore, the union stated that the meeting will focus on the identification of key issues, the setting of sessional objectives, the development of strategies for achieving union goals, and improved collaboration among student leaders.

The memo, which was signed by UI’SU President Covenant Odedele and General Secretary Segun V. Olowu, urged all invited leaders to attend.
